EARLY HEAD START MANAGER
Location: Mifflinburg
Summary of Duties: Excellent opportunity to be in a middle management position for an agency which provides high quality early childhood education services in multiple counties. This position manages and oversees the daily functioning of the Early Head Start home-based services in the Snyder/Union counties area. Coordinate programs, services, and staff in home-based services.
Education and Background Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field, or a bachelor’s degree with 15 credits in early intervention or early childhood education; associate’s degree in early childhood education or related field plus home visiting experience required. Must have good communication skills; effective time management; and excellent computer skills. ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISOR
Location:  Snyder and Union County
Summary of Duties: SUMCD is seeking a motivated, energetic person to join our office team. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, be a self-starter, with excellent time management and organizational skills. This position will supervise assigned administrative assistants and provide administrative support. Work will be performed under general rather than specific instructions, and successful candidate must have excellent computer/technology skills including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, publishing, and presentation software.
Education and Background Qualifications: Minimum requirement of an associate’s degree in business management, or related discipline plus at least 3 years’ experience, preferably in the community services/non-profit sector. In lieu of the required degree, 5+ years of experience in a high paced work environment with increased responsibility may be considered. Supervisory skills preferred.
Hourly Wage Range: Salary range starts at $13.41 – $13.95/hour depending upon qualifications.  40 hours/week; 260 days/year. SUMMIT EARLY LEARNING CENTER FOR SCHOOL AGE ASSISTANT TEACHER
Location: Lewisburg Area

Summary of Duties: Seeking a dependable, motivated individual to work with school age children. Position is full time at 32.5 hours/week, Monday through Friday. Must possess child behavior management skills which supports learning in a relaxed, calm classroom environment.

CLASSROOM AIDE 

Summary of Duties: Full time position, 220 days/year, 8 hours/day, working in a Head Start preschool setting. Assist in the classroom helping to deliver services to a group of children and their families, maintain discipline and help children on bus as needed. Assist in implementation of the curriculum and daily plans and provide safe environment in the center.
