HEALTHY FAMILIES OF AMERICA (HFA) PROGRAM MANAGER
Location:  Northumberland County
Summary of Duties:
Exciting opportunity to work for a program that promotes child well-being and prevents abuse through intensive home visiting. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the HFA services in Northumberland County.  The ideal candidate must be passionate about the belief that early, nurturing relationships are the foundation for life-long, healthy development. Will work with the home visiting team and carry a small caseload, providing HFA home visiting services and group parenting classes. Must be willing to travel to site locations in Union, Snyder, and Mifflin counties as needed; attend out-of-town core training required for HFA program managers.
Education and Background Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in early childhood education or social work related field; prefer Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 1 year experience providing early childhood home visiting services plus experience working with families experiencing substance abuse. ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISOR
Location:  Snyder and Union County
Summary of Duties: SUMCD is seeking a motivated, energetic person to join our office team. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, be a self-starter, with excellent time management and organizational skills. This position will supervise assigned administrative assistants and provide administrative support. Work will be performed under general rather than specific instructions, and successful candidate must have excellent computer/technology skills including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, publishing, and presentation software.
Education and Background Qualifications: Minimum requirement of an associate’s degree in business management, or related discipline plus at least 3 years’ experience, preferably in the community services/non-profit sector. In lieu of the required degree, 5+ years of experience in a high paced work environment with increased responsibility may be considered. Supervisory skills preferred.
Hourly Wage Range: Salary range starts at $13.41 – $13.95/hour depending upon qualifications.  40 hours/week; 260 days/year. Center Director

Enrollment Specialist

Summary of Duties: Summit Early Learning Lewistown is seeking a motivated, energetic person to join our enrollment team. The successful candidate must have the ability to work with cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic diverse populations; the ability to work independently managing multiple projects; excellent verbal and written communication skills; will market Summit Early Learning programs and provide excellent customer service to prospective and current clients. Summary of Duties: Full time position (240 days/year, Monday through Friday, 7.5 hours/day) for our agency which provides high quality early childhood education services in Snyder, Union, and Mifflin counties. Facilitate relationships among the home, the parents, community agencies, and resources and the staff in Head Start classes. Provide a planned program of experience and activities that support and enhance the parents’ role as the principal influence in their child’s education and development within the Head Start program.
