In addition to the completed application, employment offers are contingent upon an acceptable Act 34 (Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check) clearance. ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST
Location: Snyder/Union Counties
Summary of Duties: Market SUMCD programs and provide excellent customer service to prospective and current clients. Maintain full enrollment in programs by efficiently and effectively assisting families in program selection, collecting required enrollment documentation, enrolling children, and transitioning children to program staff. Qualifications: 5 years experience as an administrative assistant, marketing sales or other related position. Preferred: Associate’s degree and 2 years professional administrative/customer service experience.
Salary Range: $11.32 – $11.78/hour depending upon qualifications

PRE-K COUNTS TEACHER
Location: Mifflinburg Children’s Center
Summary of Duties: Pre-K Counts Teacher position at Mifflinburg Children’s Center. The Pre-K Counts Teacher is responsible for managing all aspects of services planning, coordination, record keeping, problem solving, and communication to ensure delivery of a quality early childhood education program in compliance with all applicable regulations for enrolled children and families. Qualifications: Required: BA/BS in early childhood education; ECE certification; Preferred Additional Qualifications: 2 or more years’ experience in ECE programs; supervisory experience.
Salary Range: $36,526 – $38,000/year depending upon qualifications.

PRE-K COUNTS ASSISTANT TEACHERS
Location: 2 positions in the Middleburg area; 2 positions at Mifflinburg Children’s Center
Summary of Duties: Assist in the Pre-K Counts classroom helping to deliver services to a group of pre-school children and their families, maintain discipline and help children on bus as needed. Before/After School Head Teacher
Location: Mifflin County, Lewistown Elementary School
Summary of Duties: Work with school-age children, before and after school. Effectively lead and teach the CSD (Center for School-Aged Development) classroom per agency and child care regulations. Manage the overall functioning of each day’s activities and routines; supervise volunteers, substitutes, and assistant teachers. EARLY HEAD START TEACHER

AFTER SCHOOL ASSISTANT TEACHERS/PART-TIME
Location: Mifflin County
Summary of Duties: Working with school-aged children in after school programs located in area elementary schools run by SUMCD. BUS DRIVER
Location: Mifflin County
Summary of Duties: Transporting Early Head Start children to and from SUMCD learning centers and transporting families to family events, and other driving opportunities as assigned. A few evenings required/month. Must have a CDL with school bus endorsement and a school bus physical.  Excellent benefit package including medical, dental, and vision insurances, PAID time off, PAID Holidays and PAID sick leave, and retirement plan. Qualifications: Proof of a safe driving record, proper insurance, and current Commercial Driver’s License with S endorsement, have been a licensed driver for at least the past 5 years; high school diploma or GED or being willing to obtain one within first two years of employment.
