In addition to the completed application, employment offers are contingent upon an acceptable Act 34 (Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check) clearance. On the first day of employment, we will assist the new employee with the application of Act 34 (Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check), Act 151 (Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance), and Act 114 (FBI Fingerprint Clearance), per Pennsylvania state law.

Requirements that must be satisfied prior to hire: a) education qualifications as listed in each job posting, b) proof of degree/certification and experience to meet the qualifications of the position, c) Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record check, d) successful completion of pre-employment physical examination which includes a Tuberculosis screening.

PRESCHOOL TEACHER
Location: Lewisburg Children’s Center
Summary of Duties: Be responsible for ensuring delivery of a quality early childhood education program in compliance with all applicable regulations for enrolled children and families.  Must have the ability to work with cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic diverse populations, work independently, plus have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree in early childhood education (ECE), or associate’s in related field (child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services) with 30 ECE credits, or Bachelor’s degree in ECE, or Bachelor’s degree  in related field with 30 ECE credits.
Hourly Wage Range: Salary range starts at $13.58 – $15.32/hour depending upon qualifications. Excellent benefit package including medical, dental, and vision insurances, PAID time off, PAID Holidays and PAID sick leave, retirement plan, child care benefit.

BUS DRIVER FOR SNYDER COUNTY AREA
Location:
Snyder County
Summary of Duties: Full time bus driver position. Work in a family friendly environment with Monday through Friday hours. Excellent Opportunity to work in a well established agency and grow in a team-oriented environment! Transport children and parents to and from program activities.

CLASSROOM AIDE/FLOATER
Location: 
Lewistown Children’s Center
Summary of Duties: 
Assist in various childcare classrooms as assigned, following agency and child care regulations. Floater is utilized mainly to cover breaks and moves from classroom to classroom as needed.
Qualifications: High school diploma and two years experience working with young children. Prefer a CDA or an associate’s degree in a field related to early childhood education.
Hourly Wage Range: Starts at $8.97 to $9.72/hour depending on years of experience working with young children. Benefit package including medical, dental, and vision insurances, PAID time off, PAID Holidays and PAID sick leave, retirement plan, child care benefit.

ROVING SUBSTITUTE
Location: Mifflin County
Summary of Duties:  Assist in delivering head start and child care services. The roving substitute works in various sites in Mifflin County as a classroom aide, bus monitor or as a cook as needed.
Qualifications: High school diploma and two years experience working with young children. Prefer a CDA or an associate’s degree in a field related to early childhood education.
