Summary of Responsibilities: Manage early childhood programs (Head Start and Pre-K Counts) and supervision of classroom staff to ensure the compliance of early childhood development and education standards plans for preschool children.
Qualifications, Education & Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, or a Bachelor’s degree in related field with 30 credits in early childhood education,3 years’ employment experience in early care and education; and 1 years’ supervisory experience in early care and education.
Preferred: At least 5 years’ experience in early childhood education, preferably with 2 years’ experience in early childhood program administration and operations, plus the required degree with an understanding of early care and education/child development current theories and best practices

COOK — The Lewistown Children’s Center is looking for a cook to help with the day to day preparation, cooking and serving of breakfast, lunch and snack to about 130-150 toddlers and preschool children per day, Monday through Friday. This position also includes the daily clean up of dishes and the kitchen. Weekly grocery shopping is also a duty of the cook, which requires the candidate to have a valid driver’s license. This is a full-time position working 6.5 hours/day as the second cook in the kitchen. Minimum requirement is a high school diploma or GED, cooking experience is preferred.
