SACC (School Age Child Care) Head Teacher for Turbotville: seeking a dependable, motivated individual to effectively lead and teach the Turbotville SACC classroom. Must show creativity in teaching, and possess child behavior management skills that support learning in a relaxed, calm classroom environment. Minimum qualification is a high school diploma plus two years experience working with school age children, prefer associate’s or bachelor’s in childhood education or related degree. Head Start Assistant Teachers and Head Start Assistant Teacher/Bus Monitor: Main job responsibilities are assisting the head start teacher and working with preschool children in a classroom setting. A high school diploma is required. A CDA and 2 years experience working in a preschool setting is preferred. Successful candidate must be willing to obtain a CDA. These part-year positions start at $7.66-$8.80/hour depending on education and experience. Locations and positions are as follows:

Lewistown Children’s Center, Assistant Teacher, 5 hours/day.
Coleman Children’s Center, Assistant Teacher, 5.25 hours/day.
Taylor Park Children’s Center, Assistant Teacher/Bus Monitor, 6 hours/day. Individual must be able to ride on a school bus for one bus run/day.
