Early Head Start Combo Teacher
Full time position available as an Early Head Start/Combo Teacher in the Mifflinburg/Middleburg area. The successful candidate will Provide education services to Early Head Start families through a center-based program. Disabilities/Mental Health Specialist
Seeking an experienced individual with a minimum of two years experience providing disabilities, mental health, or behavior supports to young children to develop, implement, and monitor disabilities, mental health, and behavior supports for assigned classrooms (in Union and/or Snyder counties). Must have a strong belief in the value of early childhood education, the ability to work well with others, and have a solid knowledge of disabilities and mental health principles and theories.

Full-time positions (200 days/year) located in Mifflinburg. Facilitate relationships among the home, the parents, community agencies, resources, and the classroom staff. Provide a planned program of experience and activities that support and enhance the parents’ role as the principal influence in their child’s education and development within the Head Start program. Transporting Early Head Start and Head Start children to and from SUMCD learning centers and transportation of families to family events. Full-time, 6 hours/day, 192 days/year. A few evenings required/month. Must have a CDL with school bus endorsement and a school bus physical. Starting wage is $10.32 to $10.74/hour depending on experience.
