Children’s Center Director: Excellent opportunity to be in a middle management position for an agency that provides high quality early childhood education services in multiple counties. Position manages and oversees the daily functioning of the early childhood education services of a medium-size children’s center in Mifflinburg. Coordinates programs, services, and staff within the building. Functions as named Center Director for Department of Human Services (DHS) and STARS regulations. Experience with Head Start regulations preferred. Salary range starts at $32,093 depending upon qualifications. Required Education/Experience:
AA/AS in Early Childhood Education (ECE), or AA/AS in related field (Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education or the Human Services) with 30 ECE credits.
2 or more years of experience in ECE programs
Ability and willingness to obtain PA Keystone STARS Director certificate within 2 ½ years of hire; beginning the process within 6 months of starting the position.
Preferred Educational Qualifications with adjusted compensation:
BA/BS in Early Childhood Education or BA/BS in related field with 30 ECE credits
Possess Keystone STARS Director certificate
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
Supervisory experience

Bus Driver: seeking an experienced driver to transport children and parents to and from program activities in Snyder County. Position is full time with some summer hours, eligible for Health Insurance and other great benefits. $10.12 – $10.53/hour. Positions are available in Selinsgrove, Mifflinburg, Lewisburg, and Mifflin County. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and two years experience working with school age children. Current lifeguard certification is a plus! $8.48 – $9.42/hour, depending upon education and experience.
